ANA-MARIE CODINA
Chief Executive Officer
Ana-Marie Codina is CEO of Codina Partners, a real estate development and investment firm focused on driving the successful transformation of South Florida’s communities into vital, prosperous centers for living, working, culture and commerce. In 2009, she established the firm with her father Armando Codina and oversees all operations.
Before becoming CEO, she led master planning of a suburban office park into the 250 acre, mixed-use development Downtown Doral (in Miami-Dade County) with more than 5,000 residential units, 250,000 square feet of retail, more than one million square feet of commercial space, Downtown Doral Charter Elementary School (DDCES), Downtown Doral Charter Upper School (DDCUS), Doral City Hall, a 3-acre park, and the new Doral Cultural Arts Center.
Codina serves on the Board of Directors of The Knight Foundation, is the founding and current Chair of the DDCES School Board and is past President of the Miami City Ballet’s Board of Trustees. With more than eight years in operation, DDCES is rated among Miami’s top charter and public elementary schools. Codina was also selected as a member of the 2020 Class of Henry Crown Fellows. She is also the Founding Co-Chair of Partnership For Miami—a group of business leaders acting in the civic interest to build a world-class Miami that works for everyone.
Prior to Codina Partners, she was a project manager at Flagler Development; and previously, a lease analyst at Tishman Speyer Properties.
She has an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Business and a B.A. from Trinity College.
